Chrysler EVAP System with Leak Detection Pump (LDP) [LBT 118]  $149.95

Description

Chrysler EVAP System with Leak Detection Pump (LDP)

The EVAP system can often be one of the most complicated systems to diagnose. Although troubleshooting has become easier with the PCM (powertrain control module) and smoke machines, diagnosis is still difficult especially without an understanding of how the system is supposed to work. AVI can help you better understand how the EVAP system works and diagnostics of the system.

Video Clip:

In this program John Thornton covers the enhanced EVAP diagnostic strategies needed to repair Chrysler vehicles including components and operation, EVAP monitor, smoke machines and confirming repairs. Because not all codes are leak codes, he shows you how to determine if the trouble is an electrical or mechanical fault. He explains how to use the EVAP monitor to confirm or duplicate the problem using manual forced or natural procedures.

  • Using a smoke machine to find leaks
  • Component schematics and identification and what each component does
  • Loaded with labscope screens (the best you’ll ever see)

Runtime: 2.5 Hours
