The first part of this class gives you the fundamentals you need to know before moving on to more advanced testing. This portion covers fluid cooler tests, shift pointroad tests, torque converter clutch operational tests, line pressure tests, stall speed tests and more.

The second part covers diagnostic strategies such as KOEO and KOER on demand tests for checking ODDTC and CMDTC’s, shift strategies and failure modes including default programming, FMEM, LIMP modes, and transmission controls. Mark also covers testing procedures including OSC and EPC bench tests with a scan tool, drive mode testing and pin point tests. He also explains how to use Ford’s Diagnosis by Symptoms chart.
